The software is widely used in various fields of work, serving as the primary form of communication throughout the day. It offers the flexibility of phone calls and texting, as well as the ability to create teams and work at the same pace. Dialpad Talk has been particularly useful for users in remote, rural areas, offering features like text messaging, voice-to-text voicemail, contact import, and multiple phone numbers. Many users highly recommend Dialpad Talk, especially for those who require a separate phone line for remote work, making it invaluable for hybrid work arrangements. Customer service teams rely on Dialpad Talk to keep in touch with customers, providing support through inbound and outbound calls. The visual voicemail feature helps manage calls from different metropolitan areas, allowing users to screen and determine the appropriate recipient. It is widely used in virtual schools for communication with parents and students, offering a well-designed application with useful features like notifications and autoreply. Sales organizations heavily rely on Dialpad Talk for their daily phone communication needs, with seamless integration with Google Workspace and Salesforce. The software has become instrumental in improving communication and collaboration within organizations by allowing for effective customer service and easy communication between teams.

Overall, users have had positive experiences with Dialpad Talk, considering it a reliable solution for their communication needs. While some users may have encountered issues or updates with the software, it has proven to be a valuable tool for tracking call counts, analyzing call outcomes, and reviewing call recordings. Dialpad Talk has been particularly useful during the COVID-19 pandemic by providing reliable phone service and facilitating remote communication for teams. Users are impressed with its reliability, ease of use, and ability to respond to techs in the field through text messages. The software has exceeded expectations in terms of its features, seamless user experience, cloud service, and AI technology for call tracking and keyword searching. It is highly regarded for its ease of use, beginner-friendly interface, and compatibility with various devices and services. Dialpad Talk is used in diverse industries, including law firms, insurance companies, and sales teams, to manage phone systems, track billable hours, and provide top-notch customer service. Key features that customers appreciate include call recording, call transcribing, call routing, and an online reporting dashboard.

Auto Populating Caller ID: The ability of Dialpad Talk to auto populate caller ID has been mentioned positively by a number of users. This feature saves time for users as they don't have to manually input caller information, making their communication more efficient.

Confusing User Interface: Many users have found the user interface of the app to be confusing and difficult to navigate, especially during setup. They have expressed frustration with issues such as content not being brought in from iPhone users and a fixed online help chat dialogue/text box that covers important functions during configuration.

Clunky Call Drops and Connectivity Issues: Some users have experienced occasional clunky call drops and difficulty in connecting when not dialing out normally. They have complained about frequent updates that require tech support assistance and mentioned the lack of admin privileges as a drawback.

Unsatisfactory Support Experience: Users have expressed frustration with the support provided by the app, stating that it is not helpful. They suggested having more exact documentation of conversations and visual representations of data. Additionally, they desired AI prompted responses that offer insight into data or longer trends for better support experience.

The software's analytic features are also praised, with users recommending exploring them. Users find the software easy to integrate with other systems and suggest opting for the version with integrations. However, some users have found the software to be unreliable in its current state.

Many reviewers recommend the software for companies that receive a lot of inbound calls, considering it a great investment. They advise taking overall strategy into account before using the software and suggest it especially if primarily using a cellphone for business calls. The iPhone app is acknowledged as fantastic, but a good internet connection is recommended for calls. The software is seen as a great solution for separating personal and business life, urging users to give it a try.

The software is perceived to have a user-friendly interface and many capabilities, but some users recommend considering other options before deciding on it. While overall feedback is positive, occasional issues have been mentioned. The VoiceAI feature is highly recommended, particularly for text messaging and VoIP calls. Employers are encouraged to use the software for easy communication with employees nationwide, but avoiding predatory companies is suggested.

In summary, users commonly recommend trying the software due to its user-friendly nature and scalability for small businesses. The analytic features and integrations are praised, along with the ability to separate personal and business communications. However, potential reliability issues and alternative options should be considered before fully committing to the software.

Our small company receives a lot of phone calls, over 3000 per month. We have a very small staff that handles these calls, so directing them to where they need to go is extremely important. Dialpad call routing has helped us streamline the incoming call process, and easily manage the group memberships of the call routing groups. I also really appreciate the detailed call journey information that is automatically saved for every call. The analytics can also be useful.
  • Reliability, - we have never experienced any sort of outage or downtime with both the Desktop app or the Mobile App
  • Call logging - we love the voicemail to text notification
  • Ease of use - I dont really need to give any training to a new user, the software is really intuitive
  • I wish the admin interface was different. I think the menus are not intuitive
  • The voice to text doesn't always translate the Voicemails without errors
  • I wish the incoming call routing setup was more intuitive, or there was a better visual representation of what the call routing looks like within the admin area
Our customer service persons are grateful for the transcription of spoken conversations. The ability to access the transcribed dialogue can be extremely helpful too. In situations where nuanced human understanding and empathy are paramount, such as delicate counseling sessions or negotiations requiring intricate emotional intelligence, Dialpad AI Voice may be less appropriate, there may be data privacy and confidentiality concerns as well. We have not had too many scenarios where this is a problem. Examples are legal consultations or personnel discussions.

We use Dialpad as our internet-based phone system solution, both in office and remote offices. We use it for texting, voicemails, and calling.
  • I like the texting capability being direct to my extension number without having to login elsewhere
  • I like how user friendly it is in most areas
  • I like that I can save multiple voicemail options and choose which one I want to use
  • I like the auto reply text option for OOO replies
  • It does not always hold an internet connection, so calls are dropped at times.
  • I don't like how I have to login to my main web based account to update my voicemail options
  • Logging into web based account is easy, but there are multiple steps. I could be easier to access and get logged in, especially if I am already logged in at my desktop version
It works well for our purposes

I use Dialpad on a daily basis and I absolutely love it. It allows me to keep track of all type of communication with my clients and team members. From the basics such as calling and messaging to Ai assistance every step of the way, channels and room meetings organized. Dialpad leveled up our game and we really appreciate how the integrations work perfectly. We do not even have to worry about taking important notes, Dialpad have us covered with transcripts and snipping tools. We tried several services and apps before but Dialpad is a one-way ticket , anyone would be amazed.
  • Transcripts of calls with Ai
  • Different lines and operators organization
  • Messaging
  • Room meetings
  • The previous call window was way better to see full screen.
  • Having the call options down below makes it uncomfortable and users need to take more steps to do thing that used to take just a click or 2.
  • I would like to adjust the left side menu a little more
Imagine you are un a meeting and you need to focus on the topic and don't want to miss a thing but taking notes distracts You. Dialpad can do that for you.

No matter who contacted a client and how, You will be able to keep track of all communication to the same person in one perfectly organized thread

If needed some Quality control, recordings are available.

Whenever a customer or rep calls in, I am the one to answer the phone and talk to them. Our company uses Dialpad as our landline phone and any calls go through it. I am also able to go back and look at a past call with someone and read in the transcripts what we talked about in the past so I know what they might need and who they are.
  • Transcripts
  • Having all calls come to one place.
  • Having a business # and personal # in the same place.
  • The app on the cell phone
  • Call drops
  • Spam call blocking
I enjoy having all of the calls for my company going to one place so I can easily answer and look back at past calls. Having to answer a call on my cell phone through Dialpad is not a great experience. Most of the time, the call doesn't even connect, and I have to end the call and call the caller back on my computer.

I answer the phone at the law office. It is very helpful to have the transcript typed out when we need to refer to details of a conversation. • The whole law firm loves it.
It is wonderful because the calls are clear, they are transcribed, easily searchable, good phone records, every employee can access it, it integrates to other apps easily, it keeps a record of calls.

Dialpad has given me an effective way to make calls in an efficient manner. The application is also available on my cell phone in case I need to forward work calls. The audio is clear and reliable (both desktop and mobile). Transcription is very accurate. The analytics tab helps me to stay on track with my goals and identify any trends. Their customer service is attentive and open to feedback. Overall, everything we need.

Dialpad I have been using for last two years and find it very convenient to make calls. It is as similar as like a cellular phone and it's user interface is really convenient to handle. The Dialpad app can be installed in your laptop, mobile and it's easier to use from anywhere. Best part I like, all voice mails comes to the inbox with audio recording and in test format as well. Conference calls can be easily done without any lag.
  • It can be used to have any international calls
  • Conferenece calls
  • Messaging
  • Voice quality
The Dailpad has been very useful for making international calls and it is very similar to make call from your Mobile. I have to call and discuss with Vendors and representatives across different countries and It is very convenient to make call through dailpad. Many issues gets resolved, when we directly call to the person on other side and explain to them over phone.

We work from abroad, so we use dialpad to work on the US market. It's really convenient because you can have a number in any area of US. The quality of calls is amazing, you can record the calls. AI transcript and other facilities. Also, it can be used on the PC and phone easily.
  • Easy to understand interface
  • Call recording
  • No bugs
  • 100% AI transcript understanding
  • Dark mode
I'm pleased with Dialpad AI. I don't like that calls come with a delay on the phone. So I can only receive the notification after the caller hung up the phone. So I have to call them back. Wifi or 4G is on all the times.

This has replaced any physical phones in the office and easily forwards my business line calls to my cell phone. The phone app is excellent. I especially appreciate the transcripts of the phone messages. Plus, I can answer and talk on a call on my computer, I don't even need my cell with me in the office.
  • Transcripts of calls
  • Great app for mobile phone
  • Very easy to use interface
  • improve start-up screen

We have three lines with Dialpad. I have the app on my phone and on my computer. We don't have to have separate phones because it works with our current devices. I can also seamlessly switch calls between my cell and computer if I answer it away from my desk. It also keeps track of all the different people and companies I have to contact on a regular basis.
  • Clear audio
  • Records voicemails
  • Text capabilities
  • Multi line phone system without equipment
  • Voicemail transcripts could do with improvement
  • Sometimes the line does not ring when it should
  • Calls from my cell phone stop the audio while it rings
When it's not a big deal to miss a call, it's great. If you need to reliably catch every call, you may need to do some trouble-shooting. When using the app on your cell phone, other calls are invasive even if you do not answer them because the audio from the call you are on cuts out automatically. This can be a problem when you've waited on hold forever and when you finally get an answer, they think are you aren't there because you got a call at the wrong moment.

Dialpad fits our company perfectly. We are not willing to go "cell phone only" for our employees and want each of our employees to have their own assigned phone number. Some employees want a desk phone and some want an app on their computers. Everyone wants an app on their phone and the ability to switch between them. Dialpad does all that for us and works very well.
  • Make calls on multiple devices
  • Receive calls on multiple devices
  • Texts from your office phone
  • More integrations into Google G Suite
Dialpad is well suited for a company that wants its employees to have a traditional "office phone number" but still be able to make a receive calls from anywhere using their mobile phones or laptops. It also allows user to choose whether or not they want a desk phone. And it is all cloud based with no need for any server hardware onsite.

Dialpad is our companies main switchboard. We have employees living and working in different states and time zones. The ability to seamlessly direct and redirect calls and messages to employees regardless of their location is invaluable. With each employee having what is basically their own phone line, they can set their own hours, and forward and initiate calls from their cell phones, via the app. The messaging and voicemail works wonderfully. Email alerts of missed calls and voicemail, means that you never really miss a call. The voice recognition for transcripts is very accurate, and fast. We are sent notice of available transcripts moments after calls end. The user interface is clean and intuitive. There are many settings and controls, allowing management to assign appropriate levels of access based on employee roles.
  • Ease of use
  • clear and reliable
  • lots of options
  • intuitive
  • accurate transcription
  • being able to record a call on the fly
  • screen share
  • Not all calls forwarded to cell phone show calls are from Dialpad
  • Still can't remove the requirement to press one to take the call
  • ability to delete voicemails
We have held meetings where each person was working in a different state and timezone, one person was driving, and one home, and we were all able to interact well and share information, via screen share, and then followed up with a transcript to serve as meeting minutes. Participants were even able to chat between themselves during the call. This meant no one had to miss the meeting and all relevant input was available.

Our Support team works remote from home so we needed a phone system which was easy to use, reliable and could expand with international texting and calling capabilities at a reasonable cost. The set up and administration is easy to learn and use. The voice transcription is fairly good but of course having the actual audio message is very helpful. We are able to quickly reach consumers with exception order or tech support issues. They enjoy being able to SMS us (versus email) as the resolution can move quickly. We have just begun adding international support for phone and text so we look forward to seeing how that performs. The team uses their computers as there is no need for mobile app use.
  • Reliable, clear audio
  • Ease of adding teammates to calls
  • Texting, SMS and related customer history
  • CRM integration
  • Easy administration
  • Customer Support is difficult to get a hold of
  • Adding International call/Texting had some challenges
  • More FAQs and how to videos would be helpful
Probably better suited for small business and call center needs. I can't imagine using Dialpad with large teams as the Support of the application is not satisfactory and the integration appears to be limited.

At Tarkenton Financial, we use Dialpad as our complete phone system for both internal and external calling and communications. In addition to using the desktop and mobile apps, we also use physical desk phones which are integrated with Dialpad. Dialpad addressed the problem we had with our old phone system of being able to call and access calls and messages on our work line from anywhere, not just sitting at our desks.
  • Chat functionality
  • App is easy to use
  • Easy to switch between devices
  • Chat feature works well but could be more robust in comparison to a tool like Slack, which we also use
  • Does not seem to work very well with Apple CarPlay at times
  • Allow users to edit their voicemail message from the app
I think Dialpad is well suited for sales organizations where many employees work remotely or are out in the field regularly. Dialpad app on your smartphone allows you to be 'in the office' literally anywhere, without having to give out your personal cell phone number to clients or customers. I think that's a big plus. I also like that you can text message from your work number as if it is a cell phone number, again without having to use your personal number.

We recently switched to Dialpad from a competing VoIP phone service and I wish we switched sooner. We use Dialpad as our business phone system, our video conferencing solution and our internal chat and communication platform. Best thing is it does it all from one really nice desktop or mobile app.
  • Business Phone Solution
  • Internal text, talk and video communication. It replaced Slack and Zoom for us.
  • Great software from the design to the reliability.
  • I would like to see a better built in paging solution but they do have one, it just isn't as user friendly as the rest of the features.
Dialpad has really created a great product for companies of all sizes. Their tech is easy to use, reliable and functions much better than our previous solution. I put off switching for a long time because it seemed like a daunting task to move our entire phone system that everyone was comfortable with, but now I really wished I did it sooner. The team Dialpad made deployment as easy as could be. They worked with us around the clock to get our phone system set up properly and test it diligently before go live. They also helped train my entire team so everyone was comfortable with the new software. The day our phone number finally ported, the switch was as seamless as could be. I would highly recommend Dialpad to anyone looking for a powerful and robust business phone solution that somehow feels light weight and easy to use.

We have only been using them for a short time but I do not have any real negatives yet. Hopefully they don't have servers going down or frequent dropped calls but so far, we have not had any of this.

We use Dialpad for incoming customer calls. We have a remote team who work from home so being able to have everyone available for incoming calls is important. We are also able to edit our contacts and share note and other information so that everyone is on the same page about our system and call details. We are also able to talk about voicemails and other messages on our own calls while all looking at them, which is very useful. Being able to set our company hours helps make sure that our employees don't feel stressed about taking calls outside of business hours at the end of the day, which is very important to us as we value our employees and do not want to make them cross their home and work boundaries.
  • Shows record of customer calls and messages
  • Organizes employees
  • Creates index of customers
  • Issues with notifications not working on some computers
  • Voice to text could be improved
  • Ability to put clients on hold immediately
The "Do Not Disturb" does not always sync between the app and site. We had an employee who was not receiving calls or notifications despite having their system set up correctly. It turned out that Do Not Disturb was turned on, but only on the desktop site, which we do not use in our organization. It would be more helpful if these had synced correctly. It would also be helpful if employees could set their own working hours as we have folks in different time zones on different schedules.

Best parent and student communication app that I have used in my 17 years of teaching!! I use Dialpad Talk in conjunction with Dialpad Meetings as an online teacher. I can text and call, of course, but I can also send my families video messages! All messages and calls are saved in a database, so it's safe to message with students. Integrating it with Dialpad Meetings allows me to set up virtual parent conferences, which simplifies the communication process because everything is done and documented in 1 platform. But I think the most valuable use this year was when I was messaging a student about their homework, and they still were not understanding. So I just moved us to the meeting room so I could show them online in real-time without having to end our conversation, open a different platform to web conference on, and hope the student would join correctly. Our conversation never ended.

Truly, an amazing platform that even rings on my computer when I have the app closed out. The mobile version for IOS works just as great as the desktop one.
  • IVR and AI language availability
  • Clear sound on calls
  • Can set up automatic responses for calls and messages
  • Integrate with Learning Management Systems and CRM's
  • Integrate Google Drive for easy attachments
Dialpad Talk is more than just a phone solution. It's an all-in-one virtual platform for all forms of communication that can also be translated into the caller's native language. Dialpad Talk has changed my 17-year routine for contacting parents. This app could also be called "A Teacher's Best Friend".

Dialpad Talk's major plus is that it's extremely simple to use and fairly priced to boot. A lot of other companies charge almost $50 per user to do the same things Dialpad Talk does for $20 per user. Granted, RingCentral has a lot of extras - Salesforce integrations for one - but paying $30 extra for that is a bit ridiculous. Overall, Dialpad Talk does what you need at a price you can afford. Can't get much better than that.
  • Dialpad Talk's app is free and reliable.
  • Dialpad Talk's administration is generally easy and trouble-free
  • Can support most Polycoms with no issues.
  • Phone activation and deactivation can be annoying.
  • They don't always have phone numbers available in the area you want
Dialpad Talk is really good for small and medium-sized teams since it's inexpensive and easy to administrate. Also really good for on-the-go employees since the app on their smartphone will act as their "desk phone."

We are a very mobile company, often working from the road or alternate locations so having a phone service that is mobile and portable is important to out business. Dialpad is a little more than we need right now, but we are expecting to grow into it as we expand. It is pretty user friendly on iPhone and Android, but as expected the apps operate a little differently. There are some features on Android that we wish were on iPhone and vice versa. Overall we are happy with it.
  • identifies business calls vs personal calls
  • accessible from anywhere
  • interface on desktop is difficult to navigate during setup
  • dialing on Android is confusing with the way the forwarding number shows instead of the number you are calling
Good for smaller to large businesses that don't need a ton of integrations. Reasonably priced for the small business. Great support.
